keyboard question

hi gang, my keyboard works fine its just everytime i plug in my web cam into my usb port my usb keyboard cuts off and stops working. when i take web cam out i have to reboot to get keyboard working.im lost any help appreciated.

Probably something to do with webcam sucking too much power from your USB ports, though this shouldn't be happening. Are you using a USB hub to plug these into your computer? Try connecting the webcam directly.

Does the capslock/numlock light fade or go out on the keyboard when you plug in the webcam? Sure sign of power problems.

Its a USB Keyboard so i take it. If you have USB ports at the back and front try and plug one into each side (if they are sie by side now)

Is it a PC or laptop?
