LittleBIGPlanet PSP, MotorStorm: Artic Edge, Rock Band: Unplugged and Assassin's Creed have all been announced today for release on PSP later this year.

LittleBIGPlanet PSP will apparently carry over the 'Play, Create, Share' concept, but there is no further information revealed.

MotorStorm: Artic Edge is being developed for PSP and PS2 and features 8-player ad hoc compatability and vehicle customisation.

Rock Band: Unplugged is being developed for PSP as a spiritual successor to FreQuency/Amplitude.

Assassin's Creed PSP will also be released as part of a bundle in NA and is an 'exclusive installment' of the franchise.

Final Fantasy Dissidia will be released in the Summer in NA so most likely will see release later this year over here. Persona PSP will be released in NA this year also.

Looking like this year will be a good one for the PSP :D First LocoRoco 2, then Resistance: Retribution and Patapon 2. Now we know what the line up for the near future will look like. I'm thinking E3 or TGS could see the announcement of the PSP-4000 or some original IPs for the PSP.

Nice to see some decent games arriving on it. Still a dripfeed of quality. If I didn't have my car I'd be a bit disappointed with the PSP but it suits me fine since I don't get to play it much.

Rockband sounds interesting. Amplitude/frequency were amazing.

Glad to see some new big games coming out for the PSP. Barely use mine to play games these days, mainly for the internet, but hopefully some of these games will get me back into it!

LBP should be great on PSP, it'll be a straight up 2D platformer with none of the Z-axis plane switching of PS3 version.

Rock Band: Unplugged is going to be incredible. Anybody who has played Frequency or Amplitude is going to love this game. Check out some Amplitude videos on Youtube for some ideas of how it works.

    LittleBIGPlanet PSP

Since LBP came out on the PS3, I have thought that a PSP version was inevitable. The premise lends itself so effortlessly to the PSP. One aspect I would still be skeptical of though is the level creator. I can't see how they will create as robust a tool as people will be expecting.

This, I am very excited about. I love Motorstorm Pacift Rift. This will be fantastic.

    Rock Band: Unplugged

As it is not going to come with some sort of peripheral, it may lose some of its appeal, however, I think I can go back to the Amplitude days.

This will be interesting to say the least. Until I know more, I can't really get excited about it.

    PSP-4000

If they release a PSP with a second analog stick nub on it and perhaps place them slightly better, I think it could really revive the PSP.

Frequency is still one of my favourite games! brilliant. Didn't play Amplitude much though so couldn't really get into it, is it worth getting again you think?

Namco Bandai have announced that Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny are coming to PSP. :D With Capcom releasing Fate/Unlimited Codes to the PSP as well, looks like there will be plenty of fighting games riding the PSP push this year.
