Hey all,

So at the moment I am touring SE Asia (currently in Laos) before heading to Australia for the year... I am going to pick up a laptop for myself (as well as a DSLR camera) and I was thinking of getting them in Singapore...

However someone said to me that Bangkok is cheaper for electronics than Singapore, but I thought i had heard the opposite.. We'll be in Bangkok before Singapore, and won't be going back, so won't be able to compare...

Any advice? Has anyone purchased in SE Asia before? Any problems or anything???

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

get the laptop in bangkok, pantip plaza has a mind boggling amount of stuff, to to top floor they are the legit shops...
