    Hi,

I am heading to the airport on Wed at 4pm for a 6.30pm flight

Do you reckon taxi at a cost 25EUR not in tunnel or 37EUR in tunnel

Or train to connolly, and the €8 green bus (or what ever it costs)

Or will I be cutting it fine time-wise in the bus?

I travel regularly from Clontarf to the airport by Dublinbus...

Depending on what part of Clontarf you are in.... my suggestion get the 103 or 104 to Santry then any bus to airport 41, 16A or 746 (from Dun Laoghaire).
This takes me from 30 mins to 50 mins max at any time.
From Fairview the 20B connects with 16A at Beaumont....

Taxi from Clontarf area directly to the airport via Santry and M1 should be circa €20. The main bottle necks will be getting onto the Whitehall Road but at 4PM you will be fine. There is definitely no need to go via the Tunnel; this is just taking you into town and back out and putting extra miles and money to the trip.

If you can get moving before 4, I'd consider the bus option and a Transfer 90 ticket; there for just €1.80.
