local tennis court hasn't got nets, thinking of buying one myself

Hey guys, was goin for a nice stroll and was checking to see if the tennis court near me has nets and it doesn't :( It has the steel bar things at each end but no actual nets. I think it's because wasters would just come along and ruin them but I am determined to get at least one and put it up.

The court is in Lusk in North Dublin and I'm wondering, who do I go to to talk about getting two nets for the court? Local politician? I'd be happy to pay for one myself and put it up/take it down each time I want to play but I'd also like it to be there for other people. If I pay for it myself I won't be leaving it around for other people to ruin but surely it wouldn't be a big deal to get the council to buy a net or two?

Also, anyone got any suggestions of where to get em at a good price? How much is involved in setting them up etc?

    Hi,

Just wondering if you had any luck finding a net..? I have the same problem myself and can only find them on US/UK sites and they're expensive enough!
