Recommend a new car

Hello Chaps!

The missus is looking to get a new car after writing her old one off before Xmas. She has a budget if between 5-6k. She is looking for a 1.4 with low milage and something reliable. Its not something I know a whole lot about, so maybe some of the experts here could suggest something. So far she has been thinking of somenthing like a Focus or a C4. Any suggestions at all would be much appreciated

I know the pics in that ad are not great, but they are a good little car, drive well, reliable.

I'd stay away from the C4 - any car you buy with that kind of budget will only have trouble attached.

Hey Guys thanks a million, some really good suggestions there, particularly the Jazz and the Fiesta. I agree that the C4 might not be the best option, but try telling a woman that . Anything else we should be looking at?
