Well lads, we had another meet up. Great fun, a serious amount of guitars this time, some you'll have seen before and some new stuff. Bear with me on the uploading pics thing- it's worth it!

That headless chap holding Doc's black super Strat is almost as good looking as the guitars.

    Good times anyway!

I loved the Duke and the Hamer, Boycey.

I also loved Johnny Storm's guitars of the future.

And everything else truth be told.

My Ran has never looked so METAL \o/

Boycey, I'm gonna put all the pictures into one post when you're done if you don't mind. Bit easier to read :)

Right, this is the last of the photo's worth showing. Sorry about the multi-posts everyone.
In attendance was : Me, Doc J, Feylya, Johnny Storm, Ravelleman, Alan Strainor, Seany & his mate Rusty and Dazberry. A ridiculous amount of gear was brought along by one and all, some nice amps too but I was too mesmorised by all the sweet guitars to take any photos of 'em:o

    Posts are tidied up.

Dord, it was at today's meet up :D

Gotta say, great bunch of people, great players too! As I said earlier, I think it's a really good reflection on Boards that these kinda things happen, where people let other people who they've never met before allow each other to play their expensive gear.

Thanks to all concerned for very, very enjoyable afternoon. Thanks are also due to the missus for letting me off the leash.....
And extra thanks to Boycey for the photos.
Close inspection of which leads me to believe I missed out on playing the black Tele. Where was that one hidden ? ;)
I have to say I was very impressed with Dazberry's many Patrick Eggle guitars. I'd never played one before and I found them very playable.

I'm already considering my next purchase!!

Damn, looks like it was the best one so far!

Oh man, just looking at all that gear is making me crazy. :(

Boycey, sorry again I couldn't make it, caught this nasty cold on Thursday and it's been kicking my ass.

I played Feylya's Eggle last time and found it was very nice. Very comfortable guitar to play. :)

There were so many nice guitars there, don't think I played anything that I didn't like, but was very impressed with the Parker, Gretsch and the Bacchus(es), notably Alan's Bacchus strat. Some great players there too, very impressed.

That Bacchus Strat is very very tasty indeed! And I did like the Steinberger an awful lot.

The best guitar out of the bunch for me had to be the Bacchus Duke. Seriously GASing for one of them now! And i loved that Gretsch! And the parker had to be the craziest guitar i've ever played!

The Parker is probably the easiest guitar to play which I have ever played, it's an amazing piece of kit. As said, a great laugh, great gear and a sound bunch of blokes, cheers to all of yizzers who came out.

It reflects positively on the forum looking at the variety of guitars, you know? It's not just Fenders and Gibsons, it's not just metal guitars, it's not just retro stuff, a large slab of the guitar playing world is covered by everyone's tastes there and it's great to have it all in one room... visually anyway :pac: and, of course, great that everyone with such diverse tastes in guitars and music all gets along on the forum here. Long may it continue!

It's mine all mine!!!! hahaha, it's just a squire classic vibe 50's with gfs lipstick tubes thrown into it. Fantastic guitar for the cash, plays really well, might need to have a look at my wiring as the output is a little on the low side, but other than that i really like it.

Ah would have liked to go to this ! Must have missed the memo, if one will be happening again soon can someone drop me a pm to remind me ?
