To be honest. You could have washed it, tidied the boot and taken better pictures.

For that price a buyer could do better especially if its covered in scratchs.

I think refusing 650 for it was a big mistake

+1, if you spent an hour washing it you would have a much better chance of selling it, the car looks all over the shop with dirt on it and a boot with jump leads and a petrol can in it.

+1! But as others have said, it looks like you're just not bothered, which would make any perspective buyers wonder how badly you treated the car. If you want to sell it, start again with a new ad, take good pictures of the car when it's been cleaned. Take them when it's bright out and not raining.

Lol, take out the fecking jump leads, what does that show about the car?

As said, take some pictures. Your not giving the impression that you want to sell it. To answer your question, no, you more than likely won't.

Yes, we are worried about looks. At the end of the day, €700 isn't to be thrown away.

I have a '98 diesel one that i reckon will be hard to sell with the 1.9 tax price!

Havent tried to sell it yet though.

Its a good bit cleaner, i know its only dirt and every car gets dirty but when your trying to sell a car its only right that you give it a good clean inside and out. A grubby car is hardly going to have that 'must buy' appeal!
