blend up some oats into powder,
blend up some shredded wheat into powder
mix these up and keep in container as there handy to have
put two heaped tablespoons into blender
    add egg
add some soya milk or skimmed milk
    tablespoon of plain whey protein
add some other blended up seeds or nuts if you want
then blend all up and make pancakes

and they taste good, then add a nice ripe banana and some honey and blue berries , or yogurt yum yum yum

and in aldi they have a good spray for the pan, very low cal very good as it covers the pan fully.

and buy frozen fruit and let it defrost the night before in a cup, much cheaper

so nice, really healthy, no sugar no white flour, no salt,

only problem is there kinda addictive:D

I' not trying to sabotage you but there is a healthier (maybe tastier) way:

    85g Oats
90g Eggs (approx. 2 small ones)
    40g Natural Peanut Butter
4 Scoops Whey (Around 120g of Vanilla, Bannana, or Chocolate)
250mls low fat milk (or regular if you like)
1 teaspoon of baking soda (0 cals but go easy on it)

Mix it up and pour on a pan with olive oil (I use spray)

    100 grams yields:

    250 cals
    25g Protein
    17g Carbs
    8g Fat

Mmmm i do love peanut butter, i get the merdian brand, costs like 6ish euro for a1kg and u can get the no salt no sugar one, so 100% peanuts :D

im tring to cut at the moment so its bit to calorific for me at the moment, though i have spread it on top with honey and banana :pac::pac::pac:

i just hate the way that ever time you see a pancake recipe it usually goes "1 cup sugar, half cup olive oil.... and dont forget to only use the egg white, bad chorlestral.. bhla bhla"

all you need really is an egg some blended up oats bitta milk, and thats your pancake.

im actually gonna measure it out and see what cals are in it,

more recipes are needed, for both bulkers and cutters.:)

i live in galway and i get it in the evergreen healthshops, whenu open it, there is usually a film of peanut oil on top which u can mix back into the pot, so texture wise it doesnt have great consistancy, sometimes you need to mix it up sometimes you dont, But it is THE BOMB, in a peanut kinda way.

Holland & barret do it. They are the cheapest, I see it in most health shops.

you said you pay around 6 euro, it is the same there, that is cheap for nuts anyway. I have seen some shops charge €8 something for it. Never saw it in a supermarket.

You can get unsalted cashews & shelled pistachios in asian shops, €10-12 per kilo. Just liquidise them up and you have peanut butter, cashew peanut butter costs a fortune in health shops.

If you are blending up the mixture then just stick the whole nuts in at the same time.

I think its best to blend them seperate, for example i blended up a kg of oats and the same amount of wheat, and now i have them in empty drinking choclate tubs.

its very handy for when making up a post workout shake, bita glucose bita oats/wheat bita protein.

also when in this handy form u can throw a bit into yogurt, so even petite fleu can become decent after u add half teaspoon oats and half teaspoon whey.

same with nuts, have them preblended in the press and you can chuck them into things, lovely in stirfry, and even if you have the salted ones you can use there saltyness to add bit saltyness to the dish.

i think its all bout convinence, and taking the bitta time to set yourself up.

at the moment in dunnes they have half price blue berries, though i still get the frozen ones cheaper,

plus all this soo called fresh fruit you see apparently the average time that it has been in storage is 2 years:eek::eek::eek:, was told this in a lecturer during the week, lecturer about logisitics and transport economics.

u can get frozen strawberries and blueberries and there irish

i only put them in cuz i was in aldi and there was sum shredded wheat cereral beside the oats, and i just wanted to blend them and see what happened :D, and they are healthy,

i was just looking at pancakes on youtube, how to make them, and not one recipe was really easy, or at least they wud each require me to go dunnes with shopping list,

so i had eggs, oats, milk and just tried it, and then chuck in other bits and bobs, and most people will have these ingredients,

i made my housemate a moro pancake :D oh ya

and you can switch around the quantities of ingredients to match if your on bulk cut preworkout postworkout, before bed.

there nice cuz there sooo very easy, if they werent easy or had a lot of different ingredients then i wudnt bother:pac:

Ground nuts go rancid much more quickly than whole raw ones. You should only blend them just before you're going to use them and it's best to always store any nuts or seeds in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
