Not very techie so I will word this as best I can.I had a pc built app 2 years ago ,Idont really know the specs but gather I have windows pro 64bit OS .I dont use the comp a lot but I have lately begun looking into forums on guitar playing and flytying my hobbies. My printer is a HP deskjet 3940 and I have a canon scanner neither of which seem to be compatable with the 64bit OS.
I am thinking of removing the os and installing windows home ed and wanted to know of any suggestions on where to purchase or if there is an another way of getting my pinter and scanner working with the 64bit os.?
I hope this explains the situation properly

I'd try and install the 32bit driver and see if it works. The printer drivers are usually generic these days (should be built into windows), but HP usually requires a bit of software to go with it, that can be 32bit.

Found this out when getting my 32bit only scanner working in vista x64 :)

It won't work, and couldn't possibly.
