i was looking for the answers to this question on RTE's website, cause somehow i thought RTE was Privatised a few years ago.

    http://www.rte.ie/about/
    exact wording from RTE:
RTÉ is a Public Service Broadcaster, a non-profit making organisation owned by the Irish people.

ha, just anther fancy way of saying state owned, giving me a false impression of any person can sell his/her imaginary RTE shares on the stock exchange.

How on earth did you get the idea that RTE was privatised?

I think legally the Minister for Communications owns it.

I thought it was mentioned in one of the episode of Reeling in the years. (silly me)
