My DOE expires in May 09

Can I tax my vehicle for 12 months from March 1st or will I be restricted to 3 months to coincide with the expiry date of the DOE?

You'll be able to tax for 12 months as far as I remember but if anything happens and your DOE is out, you'll be in trouble.

Cheaper & more conveniant to tax for 12 months but make sure to do the DOE when it's due (to make sure your insurance company can't wriggle out of a potential claim).

A customer was given scrap value for his 07(I think) Merc sprinter because it nad no certificate of roadworthiness at the time of the accident.

Quick question, My DOE is out a few months. If I get it done now, does it have to be backdated, or will I get a year DOE from now?

You'll get the full year from the time of passing the DOE :)
