Travelling within turkey

    Hi everyone,
    I am in the middle of booking a holiday to turkey and a place called Gazipasa is my final destination which is close to Alanya. the problem is the price of flights. I have found flights into Dalaman which is a good distance away for half the price of the flights to a closer airport. The big problem is it will be my first time in turkey and I am unfamiliar with how things work there can anybody give me any advice on how to make the journey between Dalaman and Gazipasa. I would like to hear anything on forms of public transport or even car rental and how long would that journey take
    any advice would help

    Hi There,
    When are you going? I have been to Alanya a few times and i know from Antalya Airport to Alanya is min. 2.5 hours. I would not like to guess how long your trip will take but at a very min i would say double the 2.5 hour trip i took. The road is very good but the driving over there is crazy plus i was unable to get GPS.
    A guy i know got flights to Antaly for the end of may for somehting like €280 with Sunworld.
    Let me know how you get on.
