i have a sig 229 and a glock 18c both from kwa and i love the two of these to bits especially the glock because it has the option of full auto and you can get 50 round extended mags for it!!

the sig is a nice heavy gun and full metal feels just like the real thing.
the glock is lighter and has a metal slide and abs lower and has a lovely kick off it on full auto

I have a TM Desert Eagle. Kick feels great, plenty of heft to the gun, despite it being mostly ABS plastic. Its completely impractical, but I love DEagles.

My next choice would probably be a Glock. Full auto GBB kicks ass. Get a couple of 50 round mags, and its super happy fun time.

if i was buying a pistol for realisim i'd get a kjw sig26
but if i was buying a pistol an i could only have one pistol for the rest of my life i'd get a tm hi-cappa and up grade it every time i felt the urge to spend money

watning upgrading gbbs will eat your money

if you like berettas the hfc berettas are class but they have crappy trades

    main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=256&g2_serialNumber=2

great range once you get the hop modded and nice and heavy

but my faverote pistol that i don't own is this (sorry scope )

    Glock all the way
i do agree with pornstar the DEagle is just awsome to shoot (TM)
i seem to be in a minority around here but i think the WE Hicapas are great. if you fancy 1911 that the hicapa is a modern version of it even if it does not exist in reality

check out the kjw m9a1 co2....it's an absolute beast. Any excuse to fire it.

yeah those all seem great choices.. if i was to get a glock tho i'd have to buy one with the glock logo on it cos id be disappointed without it.. that elite m9 is pretty close to what i want in a m9. although a silver barrel would be much nicer ;) ... im actually stuck for choice. i'm limiting my choices to the m.i.a website so if you see the m9's,glocks and 1911s there which is best? the descriptions and reviews are pretty poor cause they always get great praise from new people buying

I have the M9a1. I've not owned many gas pistols, only 1 or 2, but the kick and noise out of Co2 wins hands down if you place emphasis on realism/power - and while i've not had it chrono'd the gun is supposed to fire at a constant 315-320fps, which is more powerful then most gas pistols. I've fired mine about ten times more then any of my aeg's...it's just so awesome to fire. co2 is pretty cheap as well, you can get about 20 capsules for 10 euro, each one does about 3 mags at full power, so that's about 60 mags worth for a tenner. incidentally the mag is the only annoying thing - being co2 its harder to reload then gas, and being co2 its also much harder to find co2 mags in the first place. you'd really need 2 or 3 for a game because it takes a awhile to put in a new canister.

Yeah I got it there actually. The other Irish retailers didn't have it and I couldn't even find it abroad easily - at least not at a decent price to make it worthwhile importing. At least you could always use gas mags with it as well. The silver barrel is pretty cool. I would also look at the Tactical Master, really cool pistol and a steal here.

Check out the Taurus pistols as well, there are some awesome ones.

so whats it like for looks? and does the slide or clip rattle at all cos that really gets on my nerves..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,930 ✭✭✭✭TerrorFirmer

Flawless for look and feel. Fairly heavy - all metal, apart from a few plastic internals obviously. No rattles from either slide or clip. Like I said if you're fussy about recoil/noise as well as performance, then this pistol is amazing. I doubt you'll find a M9 that come close in that regard. It almost sounds like a real firearm being fired. :D

the only cons I would have are the fact its a pain to reload compared to gas, and the rarity of magazines in comparison to gas ones.

well now have to choose between that, the tm tactical master and kwa elite ia.. im kinda opting for the co2 cos i already own one co2 gun.. the sigma 40f . thanks for the recommendation :) .. oh and would you say i could polish the barrel down to its original silvery metal colour?
