Media Center black screen at high resolutions

    Hi

I have vista ultimate (32 bit) and I am having an issue with media center. I have a 24" iiyama screen but when I set it to the native resolution (1920 x 1200) media center just appears as a black screen. I have to set the resolution down to be able to see media center.
The strange thing is that this happened before and I ended up reinstalling vista and it worked. But I was messing around with the settings to output it to a TV and then the problem reappeared.
Does anyone know if there is an issue with resolutions for Media Center or any other reason why this might be happening

    Thanks

    Dave

Try going through the display setup in Media center and when it lists the resolution options, select the last one which is All modes or something like that.

This will give all resolutions and refresh rates. Select what you want from here as if you select from the shortened list, it may not be the one you want.

Also, I think if you the resolution set differently in MC than that of your windows display options, MC changes it on open and closing so what you get when MC is running could be different to your windows settings.
