With the next Dublin taxi driver's protest scheduled for the 25th February more on that here, the momentum is growing. I've heard dozens of stories of taxi drivers who are barely scraping by, but double that from customers who are disillusioned with the service.

So what I'd like to know is;
are the protests likely to affect a decision to use a taxi in the future?
What's your opinion on the wants of the taxi drivers?
