    Animal.

    Can't say much more.

We could all critique his diet and tell him to do starting strength though? Or maybe he could do with a course of Lipotrim? :P

i think you could also throw koklyaev (sp) into the mix as another sick eastern guy, some of his lifts are mind-boggling too

LOL the pull ups one actually looks like a repeating gif.

Absolute freak, nearly cringed when I saw him lift 400+, it looks like his spine is about to snap it's so bent! Fair play, the eastern boys are in a class of their own

Eh, yeah, pretty stupid! :D His lack of powerlifter style bulk makes him all the more impressive. Those levers are quite long!

I've seen that 430 before and it looks so easy.

I cringed watching his 3 deadlifts - such a rounded back.

I didn't think that many pull ups was possible! Even in a dream the other night I only did slightly over 30.

It is true. Whenever I wear my Latvian soccer jersey people tend to give me a wider berth in the gym.

Amazing. His calves (in comparsion to the rest of him) look tiny. Whuch does make it all the more impressive :P

When you lift that much and it's your absolute max there's no way you can keep a straight back.

This guy and Kevin Nee make me feel good about my calves.

    No direct calf work FTW!

I believe the arguement with his back is that as it's so long he can get away with rounding of his thoracic spine (also notice his head position) rather than his lumbar spine.

He has a massive deadlift and I'm assuming his back has been injury free so can't complain really. It wouldn't be a video I'd show to someone who was looking to learn how to deadlift though.

John Curd Edmunds: Master of the Pull-up...
I did 220 in 12 minutes, and knew I could have done 230-235, but decided that 220 was good enough for me at 67 years
That is kipping chinups with the aid of straps.

    Spot on with that comment.
