Just wondering if anyone knows of a knitting circle in galway? I can't believe there isn't one listed online.....There are plenty scattered around the country and not one in the hippy capital of Ireland...

Olann Ban, they have most of the knitting groups listed there.

Irish Knitters group on Ravelry. They have also have a list of most of the knitting groups. (If your not in ravelry already, then join up its a huge crochet and knitting forum..). I know there is chat going on about a knitting group in Galway. I think there is one running in UCG, but theres talk of another one being set up. Try Lola Rose, the shop on Middle Street, I think they also run Yarn online shop

There's a group meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7 in the salt house on Raven's terrace. It just started up a few weeks ago. (Maybe you already found it on ravelry)

We have one that meets every Wed in The Blue Note at 8pm. Everyone welcome including those that can't knit/crochet/sew :-). Just bring needles and some wool.
