Hi all, just a quick question, my side mirror seems to be discolouring. There seems to be a funny effect on it like crosshairs and its going grey-ish(its black). Is there any type of spray I can get just to cover it up. Thanks

Is it matt black or is it colour coded ie. the rest of the car is black too?

If it is matt black finish then you can get a spray called "Back to Black" at most motor factors. It works on most black plastics like mirrors and bumpers, etc.

I believe peanut butter also does an excellent job!
Also good for removing polish/wax from bumpers and trim.

sorry about the title above ^ :) see my reason below.

Back on topic, I would say that the discolouration is due to the lacquer disintegrating from the mirrior. Happened to my brothers A4, he had the mirror resprayed professionally - and it didnt cost a whole lot.

    Hope this helps..
