Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Weather forecasters - are they just damp astrologers?

I'm beginning to come the conclusion that weather forecasters (meteorologists, whatever you want to call them) are almost as clueless about the weather as the clouds themselves - until about 12 hours beforehand, when they all slap each other on the back and say 'Ah! I told you so!'

They're oddly similar to politicians - they promise the world and we end up with nothing. There's endless debates about what should happen, but 90% of the time nothing does. 99.9999999% of it is computer guesswork and the rest is blind luck.

    Anyone agree?

Yes, this thread is meteorological heresy, but so what? :D
