    Hi
Hoping return to collage next year in London.
What is the story with funding in regards to grants? I am currently on the dole so is the BTEA applicable?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi

As far as i am aware all grants go through your own education authority at home ie County council or town council.

Some uni courses award bursaries, phone the course director or uni to find out about this!

Student Finance is available in the uk, most if not all students use this, it is a loan system whereby each year recieve a loan to cover tuition fees and maintenance cost(seperate loans). These are available to everybody regardless of parental income. You repay the interest free loan gradually when you graduate and are earning above a certain amount per year. For more info see www.studentfinancedirect.co.uk

    Best of luck!!:)

Is this only available to UK citizens? I tried the finance calculator on their website but it just said i may not be eligible and to ring them.
