Ipod Touch -32gb Software /Divx

I'm considering buying an ipod touch 32gb - turning my back on my previous creative zen v mp3, that has served me well.

1.Can anyone recommend free software for converting my music to ipod format?

2. Also is there similar free software for converting Divx movies, so that I can watch them on the ipod touch?

In addition, if anyone could suggest a superior alternative to the ipod touch for music and movies please do....

1 - ITunes will convert your music that is not compatiable with the IPod.

2- I am currently using Videro to convert any content I have to MP4 compatiable. I use the lowest audio and video which gives the quickest conversion time and looks and sounds fine to me but I usually only watch TV shows.....



I have a 16gb Ipod touch (1st Gen) which I only got 2 weeks ago and I think its a brilliant peice of kit....I preiously had a 30GB creative zen and the only thing I miss about the creative is the fm tuner.....

Just to be clear, some of your music might not need to be converted. I recently switched from a non ipod and most of it was in MP3, which goes strange in to Mr Touch
