We all have our old fav's, the club you come back to again and again for whatever reason. So what are your usual clubs and when do you go?

    For me it is.

    Monday: Stay in
Tuesday: Andrews Lane or Purdy Kitchen
Wednesday: Tripod Wednesday! And probably Crawdaddy just as much (never, ever had a bad night in Tripod though. Ever.)
Thursday: Button Factory all the way.
Friday: No Disco in the Academy if I am going out, which is rare.

Weekends is when work gets done, unless there is a good gig on.:D

    And yes, it shows I'm a student.:P

If you like the student buzz check out Andrews lane on a Thursday(Control/Delete), its similar to the Tuesday in ALT and Thursday in Button Factory but with a MUCH better dealio on the boozes :)

god i miss being a student!

my weekend nights are usually spent in whelans, the village, and if the girls get their way d2 or coppers. went to the academy on a saturday recently and it was savage!

in general i dont get much say because i like "pill music" apparently, so im dragged places by my mates.

if i could pic itd be tripod/pod, academy or button factory all the way.want to try the twisted pepper and thinktank too.

I'd have to agree with ya there! Its a place with proper dance music, I wouldn't be into Purty Kitchen or button factory. Clubbing is "pill music", its about going out and making a show of yourself. Its great when everyone is giving it socks and nobody has to worry about looking stupid because we all look like twats!

Can never understand students who blow all their money on 3 quid a drink in utter cheeseholes midweek and then dont go out at the weekend

That big Tripod student night was awful when I went. Crap tunes and understaffed bar. And, again, even if the tunes are good the Tripod soundsystem just dont have it anymore :(

so true, that's what i loved about the drum n bass basement.

and that's why I thought the dubstep room kind of sucked. great music but too many self conscious posers trying to look cool and showing that they were into the latest sounds. no one dancing - except for me. crummy atmosphere.

it's not all about pills. not into pills myself but love choons

To be fair I don't think anyone's quite sure how to dance to dubstep.

Never buy drinks in clubs myself, always predrink and stuff a nagen into my jocks if I need to. The main reason for going out midweek to a student night is everyone there is a student, my peers. I can understand how those not in college anymore might not like it, I enjoy it because everyone there is my age, have commen interests, etc.

I have gone out some weekends, what puts me off is the older people who give you looks like "wtf do you think you're doing here kid, come back when you're older." It's a bit sad, and its only a few people who seem to have that attitude, but it is enought to put a downer on the night. Midweeks are cheaper entry (~€6) than the weekends.

That's funny, alot of my guy friends feel the same. They say that it's like all the working men are out to play and some often try to make them feel uncomfortable. Lol it's odd though that they have no prob chatting up student girls. Maybe they're just worried about competition from the younger crowd. lol
