    Hi guys, am looking for an engine for an opel vectra if anyone has heard of one going anywhere? its for a 2002 vectra 1.6 16 valve.

    not sure, its for my mate in bray, im in melbourne, but hes computer illiterate, from what i gather its totally fecked anyway.

    Well, the Vectra B 1.6 had a nasty habit of eating timing belts well before they were officially due for change. I know, mine cost a packet to repair. The problem is that most good 1.6 engines are long gone from breakers yards as a consequence.... The 1.8 was a better engine, but had a completely different loom so isn't an easy swap by any stretch of the imagination.
