    Hi, I'm new to this forum. I posted this in Mathematics and they suggested I repost it here.
    I really need some help using SPM5 as I'm not very computer literate.
    Basically I have a number of MRI scans (not functional, just plain structural) that I need to normalise so that I can overlay them and determine a particular region of interest.
    To do this I think I first need to set an image as the reference template image.

    I have googled and read lots of scientific articles, but they always refer to the 'standard method' without explaining it. I need a step by step guide as I've never used the software before.
