when you put make up on - do you also apply to your neck? i find this messy and tends to go on my clothes this way. other than that i use fake tan. what does everyone else do?

I always apply my make up to my face and onto my neck where i blend it in, I only put a little on my neck but sometimes if its a white i wearing i put powder on my neck aswell and it doesn't go all over my top. And sometimes i use fake tan so don't need it on my neck but recently im to lazy to apply tan !!

If your wearing the correct foundation you shouldn't need to apply anything to your neck! Make sure your foundation matches the colour of your neck and you won't have the problem of having makeup on your clothes! :)
If your trying to look darker than what you are there's no way really to avoid getting make-up/tan on your clothes!!

Find a foundation that's the same colour as your neck and you won't need to apply it there anymore.

Use a little bronzer on your neck

If you feel you need your foundation to be darker than your skin, so long as it isn't that much darker, you don't need to put all that much on your neck, more, sort of blend down so that your neck isn't a totally different shade to your face. :)

Arrrrrrrggggghhhh!! Sorry, this just really frustrates me. There is nothing worse than someone with a foundation line.

Anyway... You're make-up will look better if you choose a colour that is most natural to your skin tone and thus blends in with the colour of your neck. I've pale skin but to stop looking like death I use Bronzer and Blusher to bring up my colour and make me look healthy.

God I've seen some awesome foundation lines around the neck, unbelievable!! Damn the dark mornings, they must have something to do with it!!

Girl's who wear loads of make up often wear a lot of fake tan too so helps disguise the foundations lines!Everywhere is orange!

i always blend in my makeup but its just my neck is usually white and i was wondering how everyone does it without getting the makeup on clothes. i use a fake tan on my neck but its annoying exfoliating everyday and moisturising etc etc!!

Use bronzer or a dark powder on your neck then. It's powder so it's less likely to come off on clothes than foundation.

I always blend into my neck because after washing my face I always scrub my jaw area and this rubs off the fake tan. I give it an all bronze to ensure the colour is even.
