Clinique High Impact Curling mascara

Went into Debenhams last Saturday in a bit of a hurry and asked the lady at the Clinique counter for the mascara I always get and love.

I said " Hi can I get High Impact mascara please".
She said " in black?" and I said "yes please".
I paid for it, and went to catch my bus and it wasn't till i got home that I noticed that she had given me Clinique High Impact 'Curling' mascara....the only difference in the title is the 'curling' bit.

I was a bit annoyed as I LOVE my usual, and thought about returning it the following week, but figured it's pretty unlikely they would take it back as it isnt sealed or anything.

Said I would try it anyway, surely the only difference will be in the brush (it's slighty bent).

It's sh*t. IMO. Gutted I tried the thing. Trying to take it off at night is a nightmare as it comes off all bitty and flakey.

Should I /could i have brought it back?? Was yer wan in the shop just being a cute one since the new mascara out this weekend was that very one she sold me?

    gutted:(

You could go back in and explain the situation to whoevers there. You might get a refund as they mightn't want to lose your custom or whatever. Try it and see.

She probably just made a mistake, it happens, it's just annoying that it happened to you! Does it curl them at all?

I dont have long lashes anyway but this doesnt curl them. the removal of it is what annoys me the most i think! comes off all bitty instead of a few sweeps! and to be honest the brush looks like it was accidently sat on, i cant believe they get away with marketing it as an amazing new brush. i still think the girl was getting commission for selling the hot product of the week. i dont like clinique in general to be honest, but have to say i love the high impact mascara

If you are not happy with the product bring it back - they should exchange it for you if you have receipt or without if you kick up enough of a fuss.

I like the high impact but find it goes crappy so quick!

I worked on a clinque counter before, and yes you can bring it back, they accept all returns if customer isnt happy (as long as the product hasnt be used to the ooint of none being left).
so take it back, they wont give a refund, but will offer an alternative.
I use dramtic effect -- its brilliant !
