Looking for some things

Hi,

Looking for the following: MP5 metal upper receiver, metal mid cap mags. Any idea where's the best place to locate them? Gunfire have the metal receiver for 20 euro, but out of stock, and the only metal mid caps I can locate are CA and G&P ones for crazy money (almost 20 a mag). I was looking at the Star ABS ones and they seem OK, high quality and cheap (5er per mag brand new), but I'd just prefer metal.

Also if anyone could provide a link to the best mp5 stripping guide that'd be great too.

what brand of mp5 is it? go for the star abs mid caps 10 in a box for about 40usd great value, cheap + metal midcaps are 2 things you do not normal hear together

the only good quality metal bodies ive come across are classic army and G&G, i cant see either being that cheap. probably around the €100 mark.,

Its the Jing gong so I don't want to be putting too much money into really. I guess if there's no cheap mid-caps around I'll just take 2 star mags for a tenner. Can't complain, I just really wanted the metal! As for the receiver, I don't really care about the trademarks, just want something that looks a little more realistic - the gunfire one is from GFC and at 20 euro it seems ok. but it has no trades of any kind. but again that's not a big deal to me. Where would I get a metal flash hider as well actually?

Dang, that's ridiculously pricey considering the gun itself costs 100 euro. It has enough metal parts that all I really want to add to it is the metal receiver. So I think I'll wait for the GFC one on Gunfire to come in..

i am looking to upgrade my mp5 to a metal reciever also. the only ones i could find was classic army. the cheapest i could find was from here

That's what I'm waiting to come back into stock. About 25 euro. It's pretty light though, whereas some of the more expensive receivers would be much heavier. Don't really mind about the front end/tube pieces as much.

JG and CYMA both do full metal MP5s, and with clones there are always duds. I'd say if you post around asking somebody will have got a lemon and will sell it to you for a decent price. Then you'll have the receiver you want a load of spare parts:)

Very true, I was originally looking at the cmya mp5a5 or jg navy series, seriously damn cheap for full metal guns...even a clone. But I got the JG abs as a part trade so I want to just kit it out as cheaply as possible - the gfc receiver is about 25, and even a broken cyma/jg metal mp5 would be worth twice that...I know i'd still have lots of extra parts but at the end of the day I don't want to invest more money in this gun then its worth (after giving up a g&g ak for this, an mp5k and some cash, it would kill me to put it all back into a clone mp5 )
