its warden or ballymastocker beach depending on how you know it, near portsalon. first one towards portsalon, second one is looking eastish towards north inishowen, urris area
best beach in the world I might add ;)

the area around it is known as warden (or magherawarden) so thats what the beach is known as locally.
The bay lapping onto it that sort of lies between portsalon and the end of knockalla mountain is called ballymastocker bay hence the beach takes on that name too.

    Gola

Well done NWA, it was taken last Sunday from inside the old schoolhouse on Gola.

Correct! You must be a local to know that type of info :-)

I was expecting the "locals" to get the Gola photo but NWA was in before you all.... (maybe NWA is a local, or just that he knows the county very well)

And thanks to another local's post, josey_whale, I went to see Doon Fort last Sat. Had a picnic on the island and we all enjoyed it.

yep... everywhere is local to me in Donegal! :)

Glad you got to experience the place! As Durnish pointed out - it's one of those hidden gems.

You have certainly proved that on this tread, you must have trod on every sod in the county.

I'd say Old Joe will be glad of your posts here for I have also spread the word about this gem..
