I have to go to a wedding at the weeked in Donabate. I couldnt afford to stay over in the hotel so figured i'd get a taxi home ....to templeogue..

Now that i'm thinking about it i'm wondering would it be cheaper to stay in the hotel. i think its 90.

Anyone know how much a taxi from donabate to templeogue would be? at 2 in the morning? I checked and its about 23 km

You are looking at closer to €60 late night via M 50 and about €45-€50 via An Lar; a nights handy kip would be my option given it's handiness especially if you have to get out to the reception in the first instance.

It costs about €40 to get from Saint Stephen's Green to Donabate so Templeogue would be a bit more. If you are driving there, I'd definitely stay in the hotel. Getting to / from Donabate on a Sunday is a pain as trains are only every two hours.

Getting up in the morning, having a nice breakfast, going for a walk on the beach, chat to the other people from the wedding.

I know what I'd rather do.
