Damian Lewis stars as a former police officer who, after years of false imprisonment, returns to the force with a decidedly different philosophy. Deadwood's Robin Weigert has been added to the cast of the series. She'll play the boss of Lewis' character, Lt. Davis. Brooke Langton will play the lawyer who got him out of prison that despite the fact that she is married, has a spark with Lewis.

Currently airing Tuesday evenings on FX. Almost two seasons done in the US. Quirky lil gem with Damian Lewis playing the wronged man doing right with a Zen-inspired cool. The plot develops with Cruise attempting to unravel the conspiracy surrounding his wrongful imprisonment revealing a complex web of corruption within the LAPD. Partnered with flawed (and super-hot) Sarah Shahi as Dani Reese the two central characters tackle homicide cases and strange exotic fruit from episode to episode while pieces of the larger mystery are revealed.

I'm midway through the second season at the moment and have really enjoyed it to date. Great to see Lewis on screen again, he was brilliant in Band of Brothers. Anyone else watching this?

Absolutely loved season 1, but season 2 hasn't held my interest as much. Still watching though.... Charlie is a great character.

Yeah, I think I'm actually the same as Mr E. I thought it was just House MD that took my attentions away from Life when I ran out of episodes but the truth is that season 1 is far superior to season 2. Mostly this is because Season 1 is really, really great and Season 2 has some large shoes to fill but it's also because Season 2 doesnt quite have the same quality level of material.
