Not hard to find a touristy shop like O'Carrolls. Just follow the bright green glow and tacky music. Off the top of my head there are ones on O'Connell bridge, Suffolk st and Stephens green. Probably more on Henry and Talbot St.

So far as I know they're a weapon!.

However I'd try The Celtic Craft Shop on Lord Edward St. (next door to Kinley Hostel) before Carrolls.

We talking walking stick type shillelaghs?

Some of the touristy tweedy type shops on nassau street sell them I think
