I had a 600 k2 restricted bandit but not factory fitted.
It was restricted with plates between the carbs and head.
these are easily removed after the 2 year period, by unscrewing the airbox with the carbs (this is just easier than removing the carbs which isn't needed) from the intake manifold moving it back as far as it will go (which is only about 1inch) and removing the 4 plates from the manifold and replacing the carbs and airbox.

seanybandit is right also right some factory fitted restrictors are the holes in the diaphrams. but i'm not sure if this is the official restriction

The jets are never altered in the restriction so don't need changing.

Rebalancing of the carbs might be needed but only because of general maintenance, they are not altered in restriction.

I realise this thread is a few years old but its hard to find clear statement about bandit restriction.
