    Hey first thread.

Right this is more of a proof of concept than a skirmishable weapon. I shall be upgrading this to a shell fed tokyo mauri m3 super 90 shotgun but for now and for anyone who would like to build one I give you the masterkey on a budget.

    DSCF2099.jpg

    You will need:

    1x Cheap springer shotgun

    2x Scope rings

    1x Hacksaw

    Some polyfiller and epoxy resin

Firstly unscrew the stock and grip from the springer. Remove the attachment from the back of the shotgun with hacksaw, file and fill with polyfiller. (paint black)

The barrel may have to be shortened depending on your springer.

Align the sope rings on the under side rail on your rifle. Remove the bottom half of the rings and line up the shotgun.

Mix up some expoxy resin and apply to the insid of the rings.
Now stick the rings to the barrel of the shotgun. Hold together for approw 10 mins then tape the whole thing to the barrel of your rifle and let it set.

Should only tak an hour or so but I would advise leaving it overnight.

Remove the tape and hey presto youve got you masterkey.

Because its mounted on scope rings you can now remove and replace on any other gun. Remember to glue the rings on while attached to the rifle or they could be crooked and wont line up with the rail.

The resin is so strong. You can pump the stgun with nothing to brace it against except the resin itself with no fear of it creakin or cracking.

    Upgraded version here i come!

Here comes Gatling, to rain on everybodys parade.....:p:pac:
I find my G36C front-heavy enough as it is, I'll be leaving the shotguns alone thank-you-very-much!

the one thing id say to you is that those 3 shot springers will be fairly hard to pump, especially in that configuration and you may want to look into using a one-piece scope mount for extra stability.
and possibly a full metal gun with a decent rail underneath.

a gas shotty may be more suitable if you dont mind a load of weight at the front end.

About those maruzen kits. The point of this build was to build a cheap masterkey. Those kits a pretty expensive not including the shotgun.

I realise the masterkey is based on a remington 870 but i cant seem to find a decent one for a reasonable price, so benelli it is.

Glad to see intrest in this little project

That link is dead but I assume you mean the Maruzen M870 Masterkey reciever. That's actually the opposite of what you think, it's made for springers not gas as putting a gas rifle on it would require modding and moving the gas tank.

wasnt dissing your project have to say its fairly cool and individual piece,
the first masterkey airsoft was at my first skirmish 2 years ago where ,the master had a masterkey set up on a fullsized G3 ,being a fan of masterkeys since Landwarrior on the pc
