    O_o, just after DAA put some of their plans on hold.

    North of Clara and east of Moate. It might make sense to re-route all Athlone-Portarlington services via Moate and on a new section of track from Moate to Clara (I'm not sure the old alignment would work, although it is very close). It looks likes the land is flat and just possibly boggy. As usual, there is a house(?) on the alignment at Clara and more buildings at Spittalstown, Horseleap. It just might be a driver to get Mullingar-Athlone re-opened.
