sounds too good to be true and it probably is. don't give in to the hype, but it seems like you already did

No substitute for proper diet and exercise...

Hi OP... just to translate the unhelpful and snide comments above and actually answer your question: No, nobody here seems to have tried the product you're talking about.

However, things like this tend to be very overhyped and overpriced and offer results that can be achieved on your own for free. If you are having serious problems losing weight, if you feel that hypnosis may be your only way to succeed, it's time to go to your GP. They'll put you in touch with a dietician who'll help you figure out a healthy way to lose weight. Crash diets and weight-loss products don't work.

    Good luck!

    apply logic to the problem.

How many people in Ireland are overweight and unhappy about it?
How many of those people would use a quick fix solution if it really worked?
How many of those people would tell others about a quick-fix solution if it really worked?

Basically, if this stuff worked the way they said it did, you would have heard about it as the greatest medical breakthrough in the last 50 years.

the fact that you've never heard of it means it doesn't work.

Folks, I laughed to emphasise the point that the product is preposterous. I am not laughing at the OP.

The only way to get rid of the fat in the body is to burn it off or by liposuction.

Short note about liposuction, its very unhealthy, not very safe either and most of all you only get rid of the subcutaneous fat which makes only a fraction of the fat in your body. There's still a lot more fat lying around your organs which cannot be reached and basically although you've gone slim from the outside, you're still fat on the inside!

Fat is like a semi-solid material and you can't just get rid of it through massages or anything, it can't just get dissolved or disappear. You'll need to burn it off through exercise. Thats the only way to get rid of fat. When you exercise, your body will use up (burn up) your fat reserves for the energy needed to exercise. This way all the fat in your body (subcutaneous and the deep one around your organs) gets burned off and that is the only way you can get slim.

But then again the energy content of fat is much more than the energy content of carbohydrates or protein. Fat has the highest energy content gram for gram in what we take in. So it takes quite a considerable amount of work to use up all that energy in the fat. Thats why just a little amount of exercise everyday won't make a big difference. You've gotta really work up to a sweat to burn that fat off. This is where most people fail. Burning off fat is too much work, literally because fat has such a high energy content and so you really need to work hard and long to burn off all that energy stored in the fat around your body. No other way can you properly get slim.

thanx to shellyboo and fragile for your helpful comments. tried everything else and i mean everything, lipotrim, excercise, dietican diet, how to make oneself thin, lost some on weightwatchers etc but it always seems a constant battle. my sisters can eat anything and get away with it. like one lived on burgers and chips for 4 months and lost weight.

    No, you haven't tried everything.

If you can lose a couple of pounds doing something like weightwatchers then it's clear there's no obscure medical condition at work. So, I'm sorry to say, you just haven't tried hard enough.

Take a trip over to the fitness forum, read the stickies, post up a sample of your diet and what you do for exercise and I can guarantee you there will be something seriously amiss.

Loosing weight isn't easy, so stop looking for the easy option.

Losing weight is a constant battle. For everyone. It gets easier after a while, sure, but it's always a bit of a battle trying to not put back on the weight. That's just how life is. Think of all the effort you put in to put on weight - all that extra time spent eating and not exercising. You have to put in an equal amount and opposite effort to lose weight.

OP, the thing you mentioned in your opening post is not actually possible. It would defy nature.

Either (a) they don't actually eat as much as you think - i.e. what they do eat may be high in calories but they're not eating large amounts of it, and they're active. I've a cold so I ate crap food today (scone with butter for breakfast, salad and chips with dressing for lunch, a couple of biscuits late afternoon. Didn't feel that hungry at dinner so just had two small chops, no appetite for potato and veg). Awful muck but not enough to put on weight, plus I don't have a big appetite so I'd have a cut-off point in terms of how much I can actually eat. And I went for a brisk uphill walk. Crap diet doesn't necessarily = overweight (it's not good for you though). You can be "skinny fat" - slim but wobbly and saggy.
Or your sisters are getting away with eating all this high-cal crap, but it will most definitely catch up with them.

If you eat healthily and exercise, you WILL LOSE WEIGHT. It's not that it doesn't work - you're just finding it too hard to stick to/assuming it doesn't work because the results aren't instantaneous. To not lose weight when following this strategy, again, would defy nature (or be symptomatic of a medical problem). You just have to stick at it because it's a slow process. It's not easy but it's really and truly the only way...
