    hey folks im a simple yellow belt (workin hard at travelling up through the ranks) and i was lookin at gettin meself a new gi. i was wonderin if folk could offer me some advice

    1. good places online to buy from
    2. much differences in types of suits i.e. cotten etc or wot about the weight of it heavy or light?

    sorry for askin a boring qustion about boring old karate. :D

    These guys are very good to deal with:

    I had a regular wacoku, adidas, and blitz suits. All were fine.

    Personally Id go for the regular ones unless you do a fair bit of grabbing etc in bunkai or pairs work. In that case maybe go for a heavyweight one.

    cheers mate will look em up now. not too much grabbing at the standard im at its all kihon blocks and punches. maybe in a few belts time.
