As you can see from this http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055408769 thread I've gotten a guitar which I've wanted for a long time :)

Problem is, there's one of two of the strings that slip out of tune quite easily.
I can see anything wrong with the strings, tuners or bridge that could be causing it.

Any one have any suggestions on who would be best to fix this in Dublin?

Or even better, how I could fix the problem myself?

Try Dereck Nelson. He's based near Marley Park. His number is in the resources sticky.

Best place would probably be Derrick Nelson's. He can be a little expensive, but diagnosis shouldn't cost anything, and if the quote is too high you can always opt to bring it back to him when you have the money.

I think your options are :
Musician Inc Drury St (not sure if they're still doing setups though)
    Derrick Nelson
    Euguene McLoughlin - http://theguitarworkshop.net/
    Guitar Fix

Eugene's going to have is own desk in Xmusic I think, not sure what the story is though as I've not been out. I've only used him and Musician Inc (Steve I think did most of the setups there) and both were grand. Musician never had a price list though, most guitar shopsin the UK usually have some kind of list for guide prices.

I would say Derrick, any of the work he's done for me has been top notch. :)

Over 2k and it won't stay in tune? Send it back tbh. That's not right at all. Why would you pay extra to fix something that shouldn't happen to a €500 guitar, let alone a 2k+ guitar?
