House Alarm Aritech CD 350

Hi I have an Aritech CD350 house alarm that is displaying battery low for the past two weeks. There was no fault on the system but now the alarm started going off in the middle of the night. I have checked out the alarm box in my hot press and I am sure that I can replace the bttery once I source one. Can anyone tell me if the low battery would cause the alarm to go off or should I be looking for something else.

    Thanks

    The Panel is a CS350
Low battery will eventually cause the alarm to go off.
The battery you require is 12vdc rechargeable 3.8 or 7 amph
Any electrical or alarm wholesalers stock these
