Everything from pop to death metal. I dont care at this stage im just looking to play music haha. But if you want specifics my favourite band would be The Mars Volta.

Then the usuals, zep, beatles, rolling stones, qotsa etc. Others would be bloc party, KMFDM, stone roses, be your own pet, distillers, funkadelic, flobots (dont laugh the drummer is a ledgend), at the drive in, dope, daft punk, primus. Theres alot.

Hello furry trout, myself and a friend are just in the process of setting up a band, I am a very average guitar player (not up to gigging standard) and my friend is pretty good on lead and has some experience, we are both returning to music after a long break, our aim would be to have a bit of craic and maybe start gigging in the future, we will mainly be doing covers at first ( therapy, nirvana, weezer, acdc, white stripes etc) mostly loud and easy play stuff, we are both 30/31 and main influesnces would be 90s/rock/grunge

At the moment we are just getting a few amps sorted, but we aim to start practicing in the next week or two, I am based in tullow carlow, roughly takes 45 mins in car from kilkenny to my gaff, and i should have my loft sorted for practice this weekend, let me know if you are interested
