Passes up for grabs for a special Big Dish Go gig we have put together Saturday 21st in The Underground @ Kennedys. It is sure to be a interesting night of fresh music. On the night we have Kormac and Tu-Ki cutting and scratching together an eclectic mix of jazz, hip-hop, swing, funk, electro, dubstep, breaks, house, Techno, DnB and finally a live performance by JazZstePpa. This group is becoming something of an underground phenomenon.

    JazZstePpa
They are a collaborative experiment with percussion, brass players, electronic synth and beat makers. Their music has all the strength and the deepness of the dubstep genre, but the live horns introduce a fresh and sensual feeling to these sophisticated rave bangers.

    Tu-Ki
Pure talent we can be proud to be one of our own. He is an Irish DMC scratch champion. This guys turntabilism skills have to be experienced.

    Kormac (DJ set)
Kormac's debut solo release (The Scratch Marchin' EP) was released worldwide in 2007 and sold out 2 re-presses having received support from established DJs and stations including Bonobo (Ninja Tunes) DJ Craze, Joe Ransom (Kiss FM, London) DJ Food, Crazy P and a host of others. His next EP (The Good Lord EP) and fuses much sampling of 20/30/40s gospel music with live trumpet, scratching, banjo and a barbershop quartet.

DJ Yoda - "Kormac's stuff rocks - I'm a big fan of what he's doing right now"
DJ Food - "Very good, well produced and funny. Reminds me of a cross between Kid Koala and Fingathing"
