Drop down menu text problems

    putting together a drop down menu for a site and whatever i do the text below keeps coming through the drop down menu. any ideas how i can stop this?

    EDIT: and now it seems to have stopped working in Firefox! any help would be appreciated!

    I don't know why it is not working but I see that you are using Javascript for the menus.
    You could look at pure CSS menus.

    Edit: Here is Son of Suckerfish - it only uses (a small bit of) Javascript to work on IE.

    thanks, but i just switched from SoS as it was having the text problems too, might give it another try!

    fixed it!! bloddy z-index was too high on the underlying text!

    thanks anyway...
