    Hi all
Just a question what would be my chances of getting refund on aer lingus flights? Booked awhile back an unlucky for me the prices have dropped but looks like i have to take it like a man :) the times have changed on the flights and are 2hrs outside the original time.

    1. Could i get a refund based on the time difference since first booking and new time off depart and arrive

    2. And then re-book flights at cheaper price...

Or am i just being very optimistic that a major airline would let me do this:):):)

If, after you purchase your Ticket, we change the scheduled departure time by more than two hours and this is not acceptable to you, and we are unable to book you on an alternate flight which is acceptable to you, you will be entitled to a refund in accordance with Article 10.2.

Can see how they would pick you out if you rebook, what have you got to lose although personally it would want to be a massive saving.

Afaik, Aer Lingus like most major airlines will issue you a credit voucher if you flights go down in price after you book them. For Aer Lingus, you'll get a voucher that you have to use in 90 days.

Can you explain that again ? You mean if the price goes down you can get a refund for the price differential ? Sounds strange...or is it just in the case of a cancellation you mean ?

In either case a 90 day voucher isn't worth much for someone who doesn't intend flying in the following 90 days after a holiday. Wonder are you allowed to sell them or are they even transferable ?

Some US airlines tend to do that - I've not heard of anyone over here doing it, and it seems unlikely given Aer Lingus' current business model..
