My gf, who's big into Zombies, has me reading the very good World War Z, and last night I had a Zombie nightmare.

Like all my nightmares, I'm fairly Laissez-Faire in it...it doesn't compare to the recurring ones where I'm grinding my teeth to dust or re-sitting the LC, but it was still kinda scary. I was like "Zombies aren't real!" and then they were there, and I was like "there's got to be a rational expl-ah! it's got me, help! help!"

    Go me.

    or re-sitting the LC,
I always have these around exam time in college. I frickin hate them. One time, I couldn't do my geography paper because all the desks were on platform 2 in Bray train station and two samurai were having a battle beside me. It was impossible to concentrate.

I wish I had some more zombie dreams, I've only ever had one unfortunately.

I was on my own, in the dark........
    I turned on sky movies.........
    And watched 28 days later......

    Absolutely Pathetic, I know.
It was about 3 years ago but i genuinely have had zombie nightmares ever since, at least once a month.....and i always end up trapped in a confined space where my only option is to just face the pain and join the zombie race....the worst ones are when you recognise the people who have turned into zombies, ya cant look at them right for days after

As much as I think about zombie survival strategies, I really only had my first zombie nightmare a few weeks ago.

Im not BS'ing either, but I usually dream about a large herd of cows stampeding towards my house and I have to barracade it. Maybe its a metaphor.

I had one where the sheep got infected and i was hiding out in an old castle ruins with my entire year....

My last zombie dream i woke up just as i had used a machete to amputate my arm from the elbow down(just wasnt quick enough:p) and was cauterizing the wound! BAD BAD DREAM
Though I'd like to think that i went on to survive the infection. :D

My zombie nightmares happen a lot. Usually I get eaten, come back to life as a normal person and ask why they ate me. Usually dont get an answer. Once I got "hungry" and another I got "sure we're zombies".
More recently though I was given a lead pipe to hit them in the head with my some old lady living in a small house at the top of a mountain. Its really effective

I've had a few zombie nightmares, usually they play exactly like scenes from the movies, eg, lots of near death situations (which me and my team of recently acquired strangers) just happen to be able to escape from, despite the odds being totally against us. I wake up charged and ready for the zombie apocalypse rather than terrified and freaked out.

    Bring it, zombie scum :D

I've had a few dreams, wouldn't call them nightmares because i didn't feel any way treatened in them. I'm usually trapped somewhere like my house and am fending off the Z's. Maybe its all the brooks and kirkman stuff i read but i always fair out ok in the end, i must send them a nice letter to thank them for there subliminal training.

i haven't chopped my arm off in a zombie dream[yet] but nearly ripped my bf's arm out of its socket.
Fell asleep hugging said arm, in the dream a group of us were in a room hacking zombies to bits as they lurched in. Somehow my weapon got knocked out of my hand, a zombie made a grab for me, i grabbed its arm, broke it off, clubbed zombie about the head till someone shot it. then when all zombies were dealt with i realised i was still holding the rotting zombie and thats when i jumped awake trying to throw away the zombie arm- dream, bfs arm -waking world.

The night I watched that.. I woke up in a cold sweat after having a nightmare about the film. It had me freaked for days after!

I also had one a few months ago.. but I can't remember the details. Again, I was freaked..the Infected being able to sprint and scream simultaneously is what gets me!:pac:

I'm on a healthy diet of at least one of these dreams a week. Always graphically detailed, last week's one involved me in a courtyard (scenic fountain a must) dancing around zombies as I lopped off their heads and extremities with my katana before diving through the roof of a warehouse and unleashing high powered shotgun-ry action, blasting the shuffling dead into tiny chunks. Then there was a boss battle... Epicly fun win!
