Morning after pill

    this might be a fair stupid question now but can you get the morning after pill in a chemist? i cant make it to the family planning clinic where they would probably have it or to my gp and i havnt a clue where i could get it.. does anyone know anywhere in limerick i could get it and how much it would cost.. thanks!!

    The morning after pill requires a prescription. You will have to go to your GP, it's not available over the counter in a pharmacy.

    If you can not make your dr's hours then try a different dr in your area who maybe able so see you for an appointment for the morning after pill. If you try ring the chemist they might be able to refer to a dr.

    if your near the border you can buy it over the counter in the chemist there.
