How long is a piece of string?

Depends on lots of things? What laptop? Using wireless? What size screen?.... and is the laptop turned on!
    Need more info

Should be moved to Laptops section.

    LOL

4 cell compared to a 6 cell, my guess tells me about 2/3 the battery life.
jmccrohan mightnt be too far off there!

I'd even say that'd be pushing it. You wouldn't get much out of a 4 cell battery, with a 1525.

Depending on what you're doing, I'd say you'd only get 60-70 minutes max if you're doing anything like watching media, maybe up to 90-100 minutes if you're just web browsing and if you have power saving settings in mind. Could be considerably lower even, a 4 cell battery for a full size laptop is pretty dire.

well my vostro 1510 gives me a bit over 2 hours browsing the web or whatever. take wireless out of it and id expect to tip towards 3 hours. So id say about 2 hours on a 4 cell mightn't be too far off.

That said, these are mostly guesses.

Whatever life it give you, its going to get shorter and shorter as you use it, tis the way of the battery!
