Irish channels taken off Sky!!

    Turned on Sky this morning to find the irish channels were no longer available. 101 is now BBC one London. I presume this has happened to just more than me?

    Turn off the box at the mains, make sure the card is in and turn it back on?

    Everything fine here...

    Only activated my card this morning and had them for a couple of hours then this happens..WTF!! still gone at 10:30pm
    ??? 101 is still RTE 1 though

    happened to us before. turned the box of for ten minutes and it righted itself...

    This is seemingly common..try resetting the box by plugging it out from the mains, wait 30-45 seconds and plug back in again, wait another 30-45 secs and then turn on. If that dont work try removing and reinserting the card but be careful not to damage the gold chip. Again if that dont work your last resort would to ring sky and they will do a software download.

    If powering off the box doesn't solve it, ring Sky and they will send a signal to the box to restore the Irish channels.

    0 1 select to installer menu and run the installation with the card in it. that wil fix it. similary if you run the installer with the card out it will default that bbc is on 101 ...

    Should the phone line be connected to do this?? just tried new the instalation option and still no Irish channels..looks like I'll have to phone SKY..another 20 wasted minutes of my life coming up!!

    Jimrad...did you try taking the card out for a few seconds and then putting it back in again?
