    yeah - he's a texan. my theory is that this has a bearing on his war on cancer. texans, for reasons i don't understand, seem given to declaring unwinnable wars on all sorts of things. there's w's "war on terror", his dad's "war on drugs", chuck norris's ongoing "war on nature" and jessica simpson's tragic "war on bacon".
