there's an old freeware version here, doesn't have all the flashy options of the new ones, but does the converting job all the same \/

Check out WinAVI (www.winavi.com) It's much faster than the other DVD converters and will convert anything to DVD in usually under 45 minutes (depending on your processor).

With my 64 bit 2.8g processor I can usually convert a film in about 15 minutes.

Also, WinAVI is shareware. Try it for free, buy it if you like it.

One thing, you will need codecs installed to use it. I use the K-Lite Mega pack (www.codecguide.com). Its the best collection of freeware codecs out there and will let you convert and view anything.
