I was down town this afternoon and saw at ALL the bikes had these red kitkat waterproof saddle covers on them.
Did anyone get one? I presume they must have been handing them out this morning.

I don't need one as my bike is locked in a carpark but I want one cause everyone else has one :(

Kitkat put one on nearly every bike parked in the city centre last night.

    Sign of the times?

Will link to a picture of one later today.

I'd be annoyed if someone branded my bike while I was asleep!

But then they'd have to get into my house first...

That's odd, I didn't notice a single one anywhere in town today, and I usually check out all the bike racks I pass for any nice machines.

And if they did, how is it not considered littering? Or is it only litter if it's on the ground?

It was around Stephens Green where I saw them.

Still* some around Temple Bar this evening too.

    * = In fact, I can't be sure if they are new ones or not.

AFAIK it's littering if you put flyers on car windscreens so this would be the same really. Or it could be that it's just when people throw them on the ground when they're getting in to their cars, the company that advertised on the flyer gets done for littering.

Walking home from work I looked out for them, and saw them everywhere! Not much of an advertising campaign if you have to be told to look out for them though! I took one off an abandoned looking bike to check it out - they're made of horrible plastic and tear very very easily. Definitely litter.
